It takes about 2 hours from Laemchabang port to Royal Varuna yacht club https://maps.app.goo.gl/quAb8mnHpBGp8we88. And it takes 4-6 hours from Bangkok Port to the club.
(iv) There must be A.T.A. CARNET for all boats that enter Thailand. Maximum time for a boat to be temporary imported to Thailand is 6 months. The arrival and departure dates must fall within dates that stated in the Carnet. The same number of boats that come in need to go out!
(v) The custom department of Thailand only works on weekdays. Normal clearance takes 3-5 working days. In the case that special inspection is required, it can take longer
(vi) Crane for offloading containers is approximately 250 Euros a day. Cost is charged per day and NOT per a container.
(vii) There will be containers parking area which is free of charge for participants. It’s about 150 meters walking distance from the club’s entrance.
(viii) Pack container like you pack your suitcases for a flight; “No battery powered tools, no flammable/ dangerous chemicals.” There will be area for boat repair with electrical outlets available during the event. Battery powered tools are easy to find and affordable in Thailand.
