Customs & logistics

A.T.A. Carnet required

Every boat entering Thailand needs a Carnet. Maximum temporary import period is 6 months, and arrival/departure dates must fall within the Carnet's stated dates. The same number of boats that come in must go out.

Customs timing

The customs department only works weekdays. Normal clearance takes 3–5 working days — longer if special inspection is required.

On-site logistics

Crane: approx. €250/day, charged per day not per container.

Container parking: free for participants, ~150m walk from the club entrance.

Packing: pack like a flight suitcase — no battery-powered tools, no flammable or dangerous chemicals. A boat repair area with power outlets is available during the event, and battery tools are easy and affordable to buy locally.

Any arrangements are carried out privately between shippers, agents and shipping companies. Neither OKDIA nor the organizing authority assume any liability.
